Day 1: Ashgabat
You will be met at the airport and transferred to Ashgabat city. There you will have a city tour where you will see the most interesting and important sights of the city like parks and monuments, impressive mosque and other buildings.After it you will travel to the World Heritage Site since 2007 "Old Nisa" also well known as The Sanctuary of Parhian Kings. Then you will be able to see "Gypjak" Mosque and Mausoleum of the late President of Turkmenistan.
Day 2: Ashgabat - Mary/Merv
After hotel check out you will travel to Mary city. On the way, you will have a stop to visit the ruins of the 15th-century Seyit Jamal ad-Din Mosque in Annau. Then is Abiward or Abi-ward where you will see ancient Sassanian city where archaeological excavations were made at last century. It is situated at the 8 km west of Kakhka station on an area of 12,000 m2 in with size of central tell is 60 feet high and 700 feet round. Then you will continue our travel to Mary city. You will see the central tell is 60 feet high and 700 feet round- ancient Merv. This city has a great influence in the development of the Great Silk Road for 2 000 years. It is possible to see such wonderful tour sights of Turkmenistan as the magnificent XII century Mausoleums of the Sultan Sanjar and Muhammad Ibn Zayd, show exquisite Seljuk brickwork and architectural decor.
Day 3: Mary - Ashgabat
After breakfast you will have a tour. At first you will visit museum where you can see extensive ethnography section, including large collection of Turkmen jewelry, carpets, and stuffed animals, fully decorated yurt and pottery from the time of the Mongol occupation. Here you will have an opportunity to see the examples of pottery, weapons, household implements and jewelry were excavated at Merv and Margush. Then you will return you Ashgabat city. There you will visit the Russian Bazaar Ertogrul mosque. Dinner with folklore show if you want (optional).
Day 4: Flight
In the morning is transfer to airport.
