Tour 12: Winter fairy tale      
Duration: 7 days
Places to visit: Bishkek - Burana - Kochkor - Tash Rabat - Naryn - Bokonbaevo - Issyk Kul southern shore - Barskoon - Jeti Oguz - Karakol - Issyk Kul Lake northern shore - Chon Kemin - Ala Archa

Day 1: Bishkek - Burana - Kochkor
Kyrgyzstan winter tours are happy to see everyone. At the Manas International Airport you will be met and transferred to the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek. We will have a guided Bishkek city tour. Visit Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic, and so on. Afterwards is transfer to Kochkor village. We will visit Burana Tower originated in the 11th century. Burana Tower was used during the Great Silk Road as a sign for traders. On the way see an open-air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). Night is in a home stay.  

Day 2: Kochkor - Tash Rabat - Naryn
In the morning is transfer to Tash Rabat Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road. It is also called Stone Castle, found in the 14th century and located on the Tian Shan Mountains. Tash Rabat was built of stepping-stone blocks inside a mountain at an elevation of 3200 m above sea level. In total there are 31 rooms in the mountain with walls of 1 m thick. There are also subversive prison cells used for steals in ancient times. Drive back to the town of Naryn. Night is in a hotel. 

Day 3: Naryn - Kochkor - Bokonbaevo
In the morning we will travel to Kochkor village. The road will go lengthways astonishing gorge over mountain pass that is 3 000 meters high. In Kochkor village you will meet a hospitable family and get master class of how our national felt carpets are made. Then visit a small handicraft museum there and drive to Bokonbaeva village. We will meet an eagle-hunter and take a part in eagle hunting. Overnight is in a home stay.   

Day 4: Bokonbaevo - Issyk Kul southern shore - Barskoon - Jeti Oguz - Karakol
Travel to Barskoon gorge. This amazing site is situated on the southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. It is famous for grand mountains and the monument dedicated to Yuri Gagarin. Visit Jety Oguz gorge. Red rocks formations or Seven Bulls will inspire everyone. See the famous Broken Heart Mountain and spend 20 minutes to see a panorama view of the gorge! Continue to Karakol town and visit the Dungan mosque. It was constructed in Chinese style without using metal pin. On the way you will see an old wooden Orthodox Church. Night is in a hotel.

Day 5: Karakol - Issyk Kul Lake northern shore - Chon Kemin
Be ready early in the morning. We will travel to Issyk Kul Lake along the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. See the whole lake from all sides. It is not just the biggest mountain lake in Central Asia but also the preferred place for swimming in summer. People come to have a break to the lake from the whole neighbor countries. In the afternoon you will visit a small local museum that has examples of handicraft, music instruments and a lot of artifacts. Home stay in Chon Kemin village.

Day 6: Chon Kemin - Bishkek
Chon Kemin village is sited in a national park. Everyone will admire beauty of astonishing mountain views. Rustic regions persist pleasantly unspoiled, traditional and rich in culture at the same time as the capital is fairly established. Grinning smiles, open arms and unsurpassed hospitality await you. We will have 3 hours of horse riding via high in the mountains to mountain forest. Admire the amazing panorama view of the gorge and drive to Bishkek. Night is in a hotel.

Day 7: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek
The last day of our wonderful winter tour will start by travelling Ala Archa gorge. It is a Natural Park where in Soviet Time only V.I.P. people had approval to go for a walk over here. The Ala Archa gorge is sited on an offshoot of the Tien Shan mountain range. It is just 45 km from Bishkek. Travelers will see a panoramic view of the gorge. Afterwards we return to Bishkek and you will visit our Asian Bazaar. We will show it to you today and you will be able to take a lot of dynamic photos of bustling local life. This bazaar is a noisy and colorful tapestry of fabrics, produce, and people selling and buying goods. This overnight will be in a hotel. 

Day 8: Bishkek - Airport
In the morning is transfer to airport. Thank you for being with us in winter tours!

Dairy products are very popular, such as kymyz, a drink made from fermented mare's milk, airan - yogurt, sour cream and melted butter. Here you can also find dishes as pilaf, lagman and ashlamfu.
