Tour 15: Amazing landscapes of Turkmenistan

Day 1: Ashgabat
Upon arrival, your guide will wait you at the airport and accompany to Ashgabat to begin your tour. Today you will explore the capital city of Turkmenistan during your travel. Sightseeing covers beautiful city parks and squares, Ertogrul Ghazi mosque, historical heritage ‘Nisa'. Nisa has the remains of ancient civilization: mud brick of old fortifications and palaces, temples, treasury building and ceremony hall. Here you can notice the combination of art in Hellenistic and Roman style. Then you will drive to Kipchak in order to see the spiritual mosque of Turkmenbashy. Return to Ashgabat and stay in a hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat - Kow-Ata - Nokhur - Balkanabat
Early in the morning, you will travel to mysterious underground lake-Kow Ata, which means "Father of Caves" to have a tour. With the massive size: 230m in length, 20m in height and 57m in width make this place considerably big auditorium. In the bottom one kind of limestone can be found, furthermore the water is emerald colored and clean. The average temperature is approximately 33-37°C. After having lunch, drive to Nokhur (in 120 km), which is located in the depression area of famous Kopet Dag Mountain. Here locals in Turkmenistan build their houses from the smooth stones derived during the erosion. Only Main Street is wider than others are very narrow streets between high boulder walls can host only one car. Inhabitants of Nokhur have many cultural differences compare to other Turkmen tribes. The mountainous location close to the border with Iran is the main reason of why people of Nokhur are different. There about two thousand live in the village. After dinner, drive to Balkanabad.
Day 3: Balkanabat - Yangykala - Gozli-Ata - Turkmenbashy - Awaza
In the morning,you will explore the interesting site of Yangykala, which is translated from Turkmen language as a "fire fortresses" which you will visit during your tours. The colorful sand rocks made by the erosion of wind and rain create a feeling of fairytale. This natural monument has a fantastic view during the sunset. The light make colors of white, yellow, ocher, purple and red colors more fascinating. Later, then you will travel place of worship "Gozli Ata". Afternoon, continue driving to Turkmenbashy. En route, explore popular places of Awaza in Turkmenistan and relax on the shore of famous Caspian Sea. Night in a hotel in Awaza.
Day 4: Awaza - Ashgabat
The first half of the day, you will spend on the beaches of the Caspian Sea for a relaxing tour. Then having a lunch and take a flight to Ashgabat from Turkmenbashy airport. After dinner, you will enjoy the amazing evening city tour travelling in the capital of Turkmenistan. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 5: Flight
After breakfast, you will pack all bet memories from Turkmenistan trip and drive to airport.
