Day 1: Dushanbe
Your guide will wait you at the airport and take you to the city tour of Dushanbe, capital of Tajikistan. Interesting places to travel will include Rudake Park, National library, White House, National State Seal and House of Parliament. After the excursion public building, continue to the largest national flag in the world. Is size is 165m high pole, 30m width and 60 m length. Following the flagpole, you will have excursion in the Central Museum, where you will learn more about history of Tajik people. After lunch, Gurminji Museum will tell about traditional musical instruments world. Later visit the Asian Bazaar, which is juicy fruits, fresh vegetables, colorful fabrics and other interesting items. Here you will observe the real life of locals. Today you will learn more about the country. Night in a hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake
Continue your adventure by travelling to fantastic mountain - Iskanderkul Lake. It is located at the altitude of 2 255 m on the fascinating Fann Mountain. Iskanderkul Lake has wonderful surrounding in Central Asia. The tour to the lake goes through Anzob pass (3 372 m). On the top of the pass, there is magnificent view of valley, where you can have a break for photo. At the lake, you can take a walk along the beaches or hike to beautiful waterfall in 40-minute one-way. By the way, Tajikistan has the second largest water deposit among CIS countries and the first in Central Asia. There are more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. Night in a homestay.
Day 3: Iskanderkul Lake
Today is devoted to enjoy travelling in the beautiful nature of Fan Mountains. The local name of the Fann Mountain is "Kuhistan". It is known from ancient times and translated as "Mountainous Country" (from Farsi language) in Tajikistan. In the territory of these mountains, there are small and big lakes. Nowadays, Fann is very popular place for trekking and climbing destination. It also became weekend touristic spot among locals. Moreover, the fauna and flora is diverse with rare kind of medicinal plans. Today you will have a great opportunity to relax in the mesmerizing beauty of Fann Mountains. Overnight in a homestay.
Day 4: Iskanderkul Lake - Dushanbe - Hissor
Today you will travel back to Dushanbe and discover surrounding of the city to continue the tours in tajikistan. The road goes via Anzob pass, which is 3 372 m above sea level and Isticlol tunnel on the top. On the way, you will see incredible beauty of the valley. In the second part of the day, you will explore Hisor fortress, historical monument of 12th -17th centuries. It will take about 40 minutes to drive from capital city. There are citadel and other fortified areas in the territory. It was used as a residence of Bukhara Emirate. It was rounded with high strong walls. There were also many holes for barrels and guns. According to the archeological researches, there were a pool, a big garden and a busy market square with a caravanserai and shops. Despite that fact, today only two towers next to the main gate survived. Other interesting monuments are "Madrasa I Kuhna" mosque dating back to 16th-17th centuries, the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" from 16th century, which were reconstructed not long ago. Day 5: Dushanbe - Norak - Kalai Khum
After breakfast, you will carry on your tours with travelling to rural areas of the country, to Kalai Khum village. En route, you bypass the huge water reservoir Norak known as a Tajik Sea. Today's highest altitude will be Shurba pass reaching 2,267 meters, while driving along the Afghanistan borders. Here starts the outstanding Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan, which will charm with its greatness. Its unbelievable beauty impressed the greatest world explorer and researchers like Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. Later continue driving along the border following the River of Pyanj. These fantastic mountains system often associated with ocean of white and blue mountains. Night will be in a home stay, which is the good opportunity to learn about the life of local people.
Day 6: Kalai Khum - Khoburubot - Dushanbe
Today you will travel back to the capital through exciting mountain road to complete the tour. The road goes via Khoburubot Pass, reaching 3 252 m on the famous Western Pamir Tract. On the way, you will see magnificent beauty of mountain rivers and long valleys. You will definitely capture charming moments on your camera. En route, there will be an opportunity to see local people, and even talk with them. Tajik people are very warm-hearted, hardworking and friendly by the nature. They always respect the traditions and customs of their ancestors of Tajikistan people. This tour will not provide only beautiful nature, but also make you experience the local culture and history. Day 7: Flight
After having breakfast, your guide and driver will accompany you to the airport.
