Tour 9: Mesmerizing Tour

In short: Ashgabat - Turkmenbashi - Mary - Merv - Margush - Kone Urgench - Darwaza - Ashgabat - Jygyldyk bazaar - Seyitjemaleddin Mosque - Ashgabat

Day 1: Ashgabat
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to a hotel by your tour guide. You will spend night in the hotel. 

 Day 1: Ashgabat Mesmerizing Tour

Day 2: Ashgabat - Turkmenbashi
Today you will travel to airport for the flight to Turkmenbashi. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel for check in. Thee you will explore Yangy Qala canyon the road to it takes 170 km and 3 hours to drive. The meaning of Yangi Qala is the "fire fortresses" from Turkmen. And this name perfectly describes this site. You will be mesmerized by the amazing view of the fortress by its wonderful sheer cliffs of white, yellow, ocher, purple and red colors, fancily carved by winds and rains, are very similar to the stone castles from a tale.  And the most breathtaking view appears at sunset, at this time everything has red hot color. Drive back to the Turkmenbashi city. Night is in the hotel.

Day 2: Ashgabat - Turkmenbashi Mesmerizing Tour 

Day 3: Turkmenbashi - Mary
In the morning you will have a flight back to Ashgabat city. Upon arrival you will visit the Gokdepe village, where in the horse farm you can witness the pride of Turkmen people- Ahalteke horses. The rider will show their excellent skills. Only those who can ride will be allowed to experience ride on this breed. Then you will drive back to Ashgabat. After lunch time you will travel to Mary city. On the way to it you will have a stop to explore Abiverd fortress. The ancient settlement Abiverd is one of eight historical reserves of Turkmenistan along with Kunya-Urgench, Nisa, Merv, Dehistan etc. Night is in the hotel. 

 Day 3: Turkmenbashi - Mary Mesmerizing Tour

Day 4: Mary - Merv - Mary
In the morning you will travel to ancient Merv. The first time it appears in the chronicles of Avestian chronicles of the 8th -6th centuries B.C. Chroniclers used interesting epithet by calling it "the soul of the king, the mother of the cities of Khorasan and the city in which the universe is located". Moreover many great people lived here such as Omar Khayyam, As - Samani, Imamaddin-Isfahani and other great thinkers of the Middle Ages. Modern ruins consist of at least five ancient settlements - Erk-Kala, Gyaur-Kala, Sultan-Kala, Abdullahan-Kala and Bayramalikhan-Kala.  Unfortunately a few things were saved and most of them resemble hills. Even so this place is still one of the most unique historical monuments. Then you will return to the city to have a lunch and visit the national museum of Mary city, and the local market where you can buy souvenirs or other stuff. Night is in the hotel. 

 Day 4: Mary - Merv - Mary Mesmerizing Tour

Day 5: Mary - Margush - Ashgabat
During the tour today you will go to explore Margush that once prosperous ancient kingdom in the Mary region. According to archaeologists this kingdom existed 5 000 years ago.  The people who lived at this area were jacks of all trades, their main skill was agriculture. Moreover they had their own written language. Historian took it as the evidence for the existence of this center of ancient civilization, as well as India, Egypt, Mesopotamia and China. Return to Ashgabat. Overnight is in the hotel. 

 Day 5: Mary - Margush - Ashgabat Mesmerizing Tour

Day 6: Ashgabat - Kone Urgench - Darwaza
Today you have a flight from Ashgabat to the Dashoguz region. Upon arrival you will be accompanied to ancient Kone-Urgench. It is considered to be one of the most remarkable sites in the Turkmenistan. At Kone-Urgench it is easy to find architectural masterpieces, including the minaret, which is one of the oldest of its kind in the world.  But at ancient times it called Gurganj. It was in the Dashoguz velayat in north-western Turkmenistan, on the left bank of the former Amyderya River. Once it was the capital of the Khorezm region that was built at the 6th- 7th centuries BC and the early Achaemenid period. Due to its great position it was at the cross of two major caravan routes: west to east from Europe to China and from the south to the northwest to the Volga River. Then you will drive to one the most noted places in the Turkmenistan - Gas Crater or Gate of the Hell. You will enjoy this breathtaking beauty of the burning gas. Not many people know the origin of this place that is located in 266km to the north of Ashgabat city. Tours to Darvaza crater are organized for the evening time, due to it you will have a chance to see the incredible view of the sunset that opens up the picture of the burning flames of this crater. Night is in the tent.

 Day 6: Ashgabat - Kone Urgench - Darwaza Mesmerizing Tour

Day 7: Darwaza -Ashgabat
In the morning you will drive to Ashgabat city to check in and have some time or rest and taking a shower and leaving your bags. Second half of the day is dedicated for tour. At first you will visit visit Old Nisa to see the capital of ancient Parthia, which existed at the turn of the 1st millennium BC and the 1st millennium AD. New Nisa became the capital of Parthia in the III century BC. But the fortress of Old Nisa was the imperial residence of the time. After it you will visit the Russian Bazaar. It was named due to the occupation of Russians in that area, The bazaar was built in the period of 1972-1982 by the Russian architect Vladimir Visotin due to project of the "Ashgabat Reconstruction Program of 1970-1980." The designe was in a style of Soviet Modernism style and decorated by the Turkmen sculptor Klych Yarmamedov who loved the building with abstract sculpture in one of the building's corners. The Russian Bazaar is still popular not only among tourists but by locals too. It is possible to find here everything, moreover this place renewed in 2001 by the Turkish company Ekol. The complex was covered with white marble. Also there was a fire in the clothing section of the market in 2007.

 Day 7: Darwaza -Ashgabat Mesmerizing Tour

Day 8: Ashgabat - Jygyldyk bazaar - Seyitjemaleddin Mosque - Ashgabat
Your travel destination today is Jygyldyk bazaar. To feel the atmosphere and to learn more it is important to visit eastern bazaar. At this bazaar bargain is the art. You can buy everything that you want. Even Turkmen carpets are possible to buy here, due to its exceptional beauty of all oriental carpets and the amazing skills of the Turkmen women. In the second part of the day you will drive to the village of Anev. Here you will be able to explore the mausoleum of Seyitzhemallleddin. According to the inscriptions, we can conclude that the mosque here was erected in 1456, when Abu l-Kasim Baber Bahadurkhan ruled in Khorasan (1446-1457). The vizier of Bahadurkhan Muhammad Khudaydot created it, who also chose the place of built - next to the grave of his father, Sheikh Jamaleddin, a native of Anau. Academician G.A. Pugachenkova investigated the inscriptionsand made a suggestion that the vague language that the author used, managed to perpetuate his father. The first part of his father's name - "Jemal" (that is, beauty)  aws took and used in the phrase "Dor-ul-Jamal", which has two meanings: "house of beauty" and "cloister of Jemal".
