Ski in Karakol
Kyrgyzstan is a country of celestial mountains, so it is not surprising that there are 23 ski resorts operating in the republic. 20 of them are located in Chui oblast, 2 - in Issyk Kul and one - in Naryn. The biggest ski resort is situated in Karakol town, center of Issyk Kul region. The ski season in Kyrgyzstan begins in December and lasts until April.
