Kyrgyzstan is a country of celestial mountains, so it is not surprising that there are 23 ski resorts operating in the republic. 20 of them are located in Chui oblast, 2 - in Issyk Kul and one - in Naryn. The biggest ski resort is situated in Karakol town, center of Issyk Kul region. The ski season in Kyrgyzstan begins in December and lasts until April. On the "skiers" there is the opportunity to ride on the slopes of varying difficulty - from the "kid" to the free ride and just enjoy the passive tourism.
