In 80 kilometers north of Jalal-Abad, walnut forests of Arslanbob stretched over 6,080 square kilometers. Arslanbob is the largest walnut forest in the world. Some fruitful trees are over a thousand years old and 30 meters high. Every year they give more than one and a half thousand tons of walnuts. In the rocky gorges of the valley at an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level there are amazing waterfalls Big and Small with a height of 80 and 35 meters. And among the fruit and nut forests there is the sacred lake Kel-Mazar and Mount Babash-Ata, to which dozens of people make pilgrimages every year.
