The population of Kyrgyzstan is estimated to be about 6 million people, 60 % of which are villagers and nomads. Kyrgyzstan is a country of different 80 ethnic groups with quitу a different population. The first and largest ethnic group is Kyrgyz, of 70 % of the country's population, the Ethnic Uzbeks, the second largest group estimates 14 %, the Russians are about 10 % and 8 % comprise the Dungans, Uigurs, Kazakhs, and Tajiks.
